I am still reviewing your web and I would like then to contact you again with additional questions, if you will have some time for me.
Let me tell you some words about my company. We are a consulting firm, and today we are advising the largest Ukrainian battery producer on their strategy and possible foreign development. Our client is not producing consumer batteries, it is only engaged in production of larger, mostly
NiCd, industrial storage batteries. We are interested in Chinese battery industry, because we are considering the idea of marketing Chinese-produced primary consumer batteries or their production in Ukraine. In Ukraine, the Chinese brands 555 and 777 are very well known.
The decision to enter the market of consumer batteries is not taken yet. Now we need to understand how this may work in the future. Therefore I would like to kindly ask you to give me (if you have) very general information also on the equipment for battery production. I would like to know what are the prices for this equipment. And also we would like to consider what are the prices for battery components, which could be purchased from China? We are interested mostly in Alkaline Manganese and Zinc-Manganese.
I have contacted several equipment producers and component suppliers, but they were not speaking English.
